Some people will even just use a couple of buckets of water to wash themselves.
  • Another problem that people have is clean clothes and laundry; most caravans will not have a washing machine and tumble dryer. I like to fill up two buckets with water for my laundry; I put detergent in one for washing and leave the other one clear for rinsing. Many of the best caravan parks will have laundry rooms where you can use machines.
  • Another problem that people have is cooking. I don’t like the way the smell of cooking lingers so I tend to avoid cooking inside the caravan. Taking a portable gas cooker with you is advisable because that way you can cook your food outside. It is also possible to buy a portable electric cooker but you need to realise that if you do this, it will probably eat your caravan’s electricity. If you really want to have the whole natural experience then lighting a campfire is also possible.
